Director
I've been directing since college, and what's stayed constant across every production is my commitment to ambitious, collaborative storytelling.
My work as a director has taken shape across staged readings at Whittier College, Capital Stage, and B Street Theatre, where I've brought a production-minded eye to a format that too often gets treated as an afterthought. I believe a staged reading can crackle with the same energy as a fully mounted show, and I direct them that way.
I've also had the privilege of serving as Assistant Director for Shakespeare on the Vine's productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Henry IV, and Twelfth Night, three wildly different plays that sharpened my instincts for ensemble work, outdoor staging, and the particular alchemy of Shakespeare in performance. I bring a dramaturgical eye to all of my directing work, grounding production choices in deep research and a close relationship with the text.
If you're looking for a director who will show up prepared, stay curious, and keep the work at the center of every conversation, let's talk.
